I thought Hank said they let the embassy be overrun because all Arabs hate Jews (almost gave him the benefit of the doubt and said Israel, but I think this characterization is more accurate).

oh. well letting an angry mob over run the Finnish embassy might have been about Egyptian politics. Letting an angry mob over run the Israeli embassy isn't just about Egyptian politics, and it should have impacted on Obama and the US quite heavily. It just didn't.

OTOH Last night, in line to get into the Moth, there was an old Israeli couple behind me. They seemed to feel Egypt was still a friend of Israel, so what do I know.
