Reason 98 not to drink every day.

Number one, and most important, being that if you drink every day, you'll lose the ability to feel the high of getting saucy. This would be an intolerable existence.

Depends on how much you drink each day.

One of those facilities is close to my place, although across the interstate. I've walked by and seen some of the residents out front. It's useful to reinforce a goal of not ending up in one of those places.

The Twin Cities region has 154 "structurally deficient" bridges that 1.8 million vehicles cross every day, according to a report being released today.

That means nearly 6 percent of the area's bridges need significant repairs, said the national report issued by Transportation for America, the largest U.S. transportation advocacy group.

...

The report, based on Federal Highway Administration data, found one in nine U.S. bridges has been rated deficient, compared with one in 17 in the Minneapolis-St. Paul region.

Those sound like a great idea to me. Kind of the opposite of taking porn from prisoners. Where are they going to turn but some other's guys (likely involuntary) ass?

This is interesting

It seems like NGDP level targeting is picking up steam, as summarized here by Business Insider. Krugman joins in here. Less notably, Brad Delong and Matt Yglesias too.

Re: My God, you are an idiot.

You're gonna have to help me through your thought process here. You think the OWS movement is made up of government employees, K Street lawyers and defense contractors? Why?

ETA: Oh. I get it now. You are incorrectly asserting that all of these people at the 1%, thus the 99% should make them their enemy. Uh huh.

not the 1%, the 1% is too small to be the problem. The dem operatives that have fueled the OWS movement should be tazered for the distraction.

The problem is a city that creates nothing, nothing but taxes and ruinous health care laws, is now the greatest center for wealth in this country.

Tell us again about how HCR -- most of which hasn't gone into effect yet -- has wrecked the economy.

Oh wait, you just did.

FWIW, I think I originally found it on Twitter. I agree -- I think it's awesome.
