At times like these, I realize we have been far too generous in referring you work.

Re: My God, you are an idiot.

twitter hacks? bababooey was getting hacked for a bit. i actually read an acai berry ad because he vouched for it. Hacking happens all the time on the twitter. in fact, I'm hoping that atticus has been hacked for the last few months and that that is not his actual content, BUT the Dem guy won't say he didn't send the shot.

I think he tweeted it thinking it was similar to a PM on FB. If you're over 30 you really don't get twitter enough to get cute. sorry.

You may be confusing sponsored tweeting with hacking. I had to unfollow Roger Ebert thanks to his annoying sponsored tweets.

Then I basically stopped using it all together as there was little worth reading.

He said he didn't send it. Oddly he said he didn't know if it was him in the pic.

He really doesn't sound like he would know how to send it though.

no, Gary was hacked. It seems not so difficult to do. and the idea of "calling the authorities" is absurd, but he doesn't seem willing to say he didn't send some kid the pix.

You mean by saying: “I didn’t send that picture out.”?

I just hope he gets a good fruit of the loom endorsement contract. Tightie Off-Whities indeed.

So what double entrendres has he missed in his subsequent comments? My favorite is by far the "point of the sword" one.

Jon Stewart, Weiner's former roommate: "My memory is this cat had a lot more Anthony and a lot less weiner."

When Pigs Fly

The most fascinating thing about this is that I had no idea that the NJ State Police used Chinook helicopters.

Paging Sebby

Here's a member of the executive board of the ECB arguing for the use of headline inflation in setting monetary policy.

Here's Brad DeLong explaining the shockingly fundamental error that underlines the argument.

And here's His Smugness with the actual numbers, including:

All of which is a long way of saying that you don't help middle class workers by putting the breaks on a sluggish economy even if production shocks in the middle east and growing demand in China send oil to a higher "normal" price level.

Well, what are you supposed to do when the pig (apparently) has a broken leg that means he can't walk 100 yards?

The helicopter got him closer to his destination than an SUV could have? Seems highly unlikely to me.

That's the point--he exited the helicopter and took an SUV (or Town Car or whatever) that last 100 yards. And he was running late and didn't want to have a Corzine-incident on the Turnpike.

Still, the smarter move would've been to put the thing down in left field, set out some traffic cones to cordon off the area. It'd be totally safe; everyone knows that high-schoolers don't know how to pull the ball.
