I gave birth to a baby girl on October 1. Within a few days she had a PERIOD (yes, blood in her diaper) and started LACTATING (milk came out of her little TITS for more than a week). Apparently, this is relatively normal.

My little girl, growing up so fast......
Pensky's long lost lactational lovr sock would be more interested in what's goign on with your swelled milk laden TITS. any update incase those sockes are lurking?

I'd heard that this could happen, but didn't see it with my own daughter (just shy of a year older than yours!). All three did have the oversized genitalia at birth thing, and my first had rusty pee at a week or so old.

So, are you getting any sleep yet? (congrats, btw)

Unfortunately, I have a two-button dinner jacket, so I will probably keep it buttoned and go with nothing.

Danke.

Wondering what the original point of a cummerbund was, I looked on Wikipedia and discovered that the original function was two-fold, apparently: A place to stash your theatre tickets and such and a way to hide your gut after you pigged out at the banquet. If you don't need it for either of these purposes, perhaps there is no scandal in not wearing one.

Hepfully yours,

SH

Nothing is actually more the trend these days. Fashion-forward types are returning more to the "dinner suit" notion. Things like studs, cummerbunds, and wing-collar shirts are reserved for white tie formal.

Help

I hired a nanny a while ago. She worked for me 3 days a week, except that the first week, she was out the 3rd day because she was hospitalized with complications from her diabetes.

Two weeks later, she was out again, hospitalized again. This time, she was in the hospital for more than 2 weeks.

We mutually agreed to part ways, and she agreed to return a couple of things she had of mine (a booster seat, a clicker to my garage door, and a placard-thing that lets her pick my kid up at school) after she had surgery scheduled for the next week.

She texted me a week or two later and asked me to pay her for the one day she'd worked and not been paid for, and told me she'd get my stuff to me the next week. I (foolishly, in retrospect) transferred money into her account.

It's been more than 2 months now. I can't get my stuff back. She won't answer my texts or my calls or my emails.

I know it's not more than $100 worth of stuff. But I want it back.

Any ideas?

Tell her you'll pick the stuff up at her place on a certain date (by phone, text email, and letter), threaten a police report, and then make one.

ETA: It probably goes without saying, but I would reprogram the garage door opener.

ETFA: I assume there's no possibility that she's so sick and in the hospital that she can't return the stuff .. .

And, it also goes w/o saying, do the re-programming before making any threats.

Is there a reason not to drop by and try to pick it up before threatening the police?
