Major understatement.  I like all 3 bands, but a few songs excepted, SK is wayyyyy heavier than The Bangles or The Go-Gos.  Almost another genre altogether.  And, though it doesn't show in the song you linked, Janet Weiss (sp?) is one bad-ass drummer (and currently playing with Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks).
