I've never had a problem using stub hub for anything, and I use them all the time.
Well, that's a good option except that now I can't get the website to work. it's stuck on the shipping info page. christ. And the customer support will get back to me "within 24 hours." Helpful.

I don't know. Do we know anyone who can give a four-hour blowjob?

That's a rhetorical question, right?

I'm happy to buy tix on SH, but they ship by Fed Ex and use Standard Shipping so I'm concerned that I'm not going to get the tickets in time for the show. Has anybody else used SH to get tickets for a last minute show? Was there any problem expediting delivery of the tickets? I don't see a method for expediting the shipping when I try to purchase the tickets.
I have picked up stuff at their NY office. Was a very efficient process.

Fuck. They had about 25 tix available when I first tried to buy them, and while the site was spazzing out, all of the tix disappeared. Goddammit. They don't even have tickets for the freaking matinee.

there are other brokers. StubHub takes everything down once the date gets too close.

google "broadway theatre ticket brokers."

I'm talking to the concierge at my hotel now. She said she can get me tickets for Friday night. I'm sure I'll be paying out of my ass, but it's worth it to have somebody else do the work and to know that I'll actually get the tix in time. My mother better appreciate this and love me better than all of her other kids!

My mother uses a ticket broker we affectionately refer to as "the thief". I can get his number for you if you'd like.

Thanks -- I would have taken you up on that if the concierge hadn't been able to come through. These tix are cheaper than the ones I was trying to buy and the seats are not nearly as good. But my siblings are all poor so it's better than whatever crap they will buy her.
