So why not fire him and let it be known that he's been fired?

Given that the retail market for indulgences is not what it once was, the self-interested greed and consolidation (and abuse) of power that underscores the corner office is also tempered by a social conscience, such that we hedge on our bets on the after life.
that's how we roll in a post-partisan wourld!

It is Friday evening, and the enjoyment I would normally experience about this is tempered by the knowledge that you are probably breathing a sigh of relief right now as your car or train leaves the dirty old city and heads to the well-manicured lawns of the Jersey suburbs, where you will hand your trench coat to your wife, put your brief case down beside your easy chair, kiss the kids good night, and then put on your dockers and a diagonally-striped shirt and head out to 2-4-1s at the local Applebees with Jerry, the accountant from your cul-de-sac.

You know he's been telling his wife this story for fifteen years, while he and Jerry really ditch the shirts in the trunk, put on their vests and gold chains, and drive back in to the dirty city to the leather bar by the docks, where they watch "football" games and cheer in fake cockney accents?

Yes, but not for the whole night..... intimate menswear happens to be a burgeoning industry.
