According to you (and the yards per pass or rush you quoted), the gamble is the same, no?

i don't get this either. those two teams are playing to get to the superbowl, every year, not to win or not win a game in November.

what the call says is I don't trust my defense, and it will still say that come late December and January. and if he defense can't make a stop he ain't going anywhere anyway.

No.

I don't know how anyone looks at his decisions at the end of the game without thinking they were exceedingly stupid.
Okay.

Re: Welcome back E/O, leagl and Fringey: no one say the name "Penske" 3 times in a ro

Thanks for the rousing welcome.

What did I miss?

Have my reasons for leaving been discussed and deconstructed and documented?

Up for partner in a few weeks. Wish me luck.

The question is, where on the field does the ball have to be for it to be a bad decision? You don't think the 30 yard line is too close. I might be okay with him making the decision (with a different play called) on the Colts' 45 (mmmmmm). I guess you're saying the risk is too great to make that call if you're closer than 28 yards out. If that's what you believe, I'm just wondering how close is too close in your opinion.

Definitely somewhere across midfield, where a punt is likely to net only 20-30 yards. What's remarkable is that 5 years ago Bellicheck was in Peyton's head, and Manning couldn't solve anything Bellicheck did. Now it's the other way around--Bellichek is afraid of Manning regardless. If the Colts fans were sharper, they would have started in with a "Who's Your Daddy?" chant.

ETA: Here's the clearest analysis of whether the decision made sense, and this guy says "yes". He also notes that the third-down pass was more misguided if the plan was to go for it anyway.

Oddly no. More discussion of whether you were Thrashers Fan.

We assumed you left because your feelings were hurt, you wussy, but if you'd like to post a rampage now detailing all the ways you were wronged and the flaws and sexual pecadillos of each other poster on the board, please, feel free.

Truth Serum

Lesson from the weekend: two strong cocktails in an hour is all I need to tell you all about my sex life.

Related: if you ask me direct questions, I will answer.

Now, we all know how each couple does or does not prevent pregnancy, what everyone thinks is a non-Vanilla activity, and that my friends are surprisingly prudish.

Last lesson: a man should never use the word "buttsex." It just makes you look ridiculous and sexually inexperienced.

I now listen to Belle & Sebastian, and regret that I had not started doing so when you first mentioned them.

And the Ducks are apparently no longer Mighty. My friend the Giggy fan from the OC told me that.

Is "ass fucking" the phrase for the somber and experienced?

I think E/O refers to the act as "raving".

Anal would have been fine.

"Buttsex" sounds too much like "eewww, buttsex," as uttered by a 13 year old boy.

I understand people have different interests, kinks, and proclivities, but discuss it like a grownup.
