Apparently there are several different models depending on memory size and whether there's 3G or not. Starts at $499, which isn't too far above a netbook. |

AT&T should have zero-costed or subsidized the 3G models. Paying for a chip that accesses AT&T's 3G network is like getting stabbed in the eye and charged for the stick.
And yes, I say that in full realization that you're not under contract with AT&T so they don't have assurance to recoup. But how much does a 3G chip cost to include? It sure as hell isn't $130. |
