I know some folks consider it a sissy’s workout, but ellipticals are easy on the knees. And you can take calls, send texts and emails, and even edit documents while using one. You can also watch movies on your phone or iPad.
I find the mind works better when you’re at high cardiac output. Maybe it’s enhanced oxygen to the brain... But you think up creative solutions while in a cardio workout.
Unfortunately, the effect seems to reverse after you’re done. The relaxed, tranquil mind one has post-workout seems sort of buzzed. It’s not really so interested in thinking. I’m kind of dull in hearings or meetings where I e worked out before.
