The tense concerns me. Please tell me you'll always have a place in your heart for Flinty after the nuptials. It would also be great if I could still have a place on the couch as well when it's not carnival season.

As if we didn't already think the insurance companies were scum

Apparently, in a number of jurisdictions, they are treating spousal abuse as a pre-existing condition.

Nope. Apparently bus-side ads. I suspect mostly on the northside routes, if they were intended to be effective advertising for the movie, rather than just a ploy to get the free media attention.

Seems to me that the blogs (and newspapers, etc) that decried the ads gave Tucker exactly what he wanted. None of their authors or regular readers of those blogs are in the Tucker demo, but it gives the fanboys (a) another reason to talk about and defend Tucker and (b) Tucker another "reason" to "complain" about all the people who complain about him.

The contiguous United States, visualized by distance to the nearest McDonald's.

Doing it and how you do it are two different things. You're rich, hot, smart and connected, just like everyone else here. You know what I mean.

I don't have anything against you personally -- I don't even know you. But let's not pretend as to why snarky comments have been made. (Beyond the fact that we're bored and it's what we do. )

If I learned anything from Tremors, it was to stockpile dynamite.

Do I really need to clarify when I am being arch?

Where is the FB I know and love?

No, but I'm still really curious as to why you don't have your foundation buy the gala tables - are there tax issues I'm overlooking?

It's waking up the morning after, with sunlight on both pillows.

(Except for Not Bob. He had a Shirley Temple at the Dew Drop Inn and is still asleep on the couch.)

Nice work. Except for the "male" part, I think you've got something.
