I think you can compare apples and oranges. They're both fruit. They both grow on trees. They both can be made into juice.

Apples and orangutans having nothing in common.
Arghh. These women do have something in common. They are both women. So apples to oranges is way more apt.

Hank Disclaimer- I mean no ill-will towards the foot fetishers with the above.

Are apples and oranges the same species? No. Not even in the same FAMILY! Wait a second, I think I'm contradicting my earlier argument.

Carolyn Bessette Kennedy was not hot.

Of course there's a subjective determination. That's what makes the discussion interesting.

For today's Vs., we have:

Paltrow

vs.

Bessette-Kennedy

I used to think Gwyneth Paltrow was pretty in a kind of ballerina way. But I think she ruined it with her personality. I never thought much of Bessette, even though she was considered by some* to be the be-all and end-all of beauty. She struck me as the real-life version of that Seinfeld girlfriend who looks great in a certain light and awful 5 minutes later in another.

I would kill for Paltrow's teeth. My teeth are straight (and I never had to wear braces, thank goodness) but hers look perfect.

Uh, I assumed the picture I posted was the exact reference she was making when she called me a "moran". Was that a whiff?

I bet you were thinking that too.

You don't have to kill for those teeth, just pay for them.

I have an overwhelming urge to fight the hypothetical and say "neither."

Since I can't, I'll take Gwyneth and a roll of duct tape. For her mouth. Although I know that sounds kind of bad.

Engaging with Hank on "whiffs" is like asking him about his scorekeeping. There's no chance of a meeting of the minds. For at least two reasons.

I just assume I'm on everyone's list until I am soundly rejected.

he stepped on her joke. and while we're at it, when someone posts "thanks for having my back," they typically understand that the post was actually an insult. it's a convention that goes back to Penske/Paigow days. I didn't call you on the whiff, since your know coltrane.
