I figured Cal was just freaked out looking at the throwback uni's.

You gotta give people some warning about those colors, man.

That was the first time in a while where Oregon didn't need to give a warning about its colors.

BTW, what is it with the PNW and freak-show uniforms?

Day-glo green? Really?

Yes, which is why you didn't hear me crowing about them here. I've been a fan for far too long to start drinking any Kool Aid. The only way they can convince me is by winning the Pac 10 once and winning the Rose Bowl. Not going to the Rose Bowl, winning it. I thought Oregon did an awesome job.

2. I LOLed more during that pilot than anything on TV since Arrested Development went off the air. Even the creepy Latino stepkid is funny. Reminded me of the late lamented Sons & Daughters, the part improv sitcom that disappeared after a season.

BTW, Hank, I've been giving Frisky Dingo a chance. Better than ATHF, not as good as Sealab, a bit too much reliance on the gross-out killing off of characters, but a good number of laughs for 15 minutes, so thanks for the tip.

If this series of events motivates Cal to beat USC next week, I for one think Cal's humiliating loss this past weekend will have been well worth it.

The Trojans beat up on hapless WSU this weekend, yet the vibe among fans and the local media is that trouble is in the air because said beating was not sufficiently complete or profound. Blech.

USC fell 24+ points short of covering the spread. If SC can't cover the spread against Wazzu, in LA, then it's not even close to enough of a beatdown.

Headline I enjoyed this morning:

Washington Bails out Detroit.

Congratulations (?), Hank.
