Boy oh boy, I am so mad at Farrah Fawcett-Majors. She is so conceited. She has never called me once. And after the hours I've spent holding up her poster with one hand! Geez!

Things I have enjoyed today: The blog commentary on ESPN's gametracker re Brazil-South Africa. Sample:

[spoiler-name deleted], who had been eyeing the situation up as though he wanted to start a fight with it, bends a brilliant free kick around the edge of a wall that was perhaps a man short, clips the right hand post half way up, and goes in. He pulls up his shirt to reveal a tattoo of his name and is booked, hopefully for the poorness of his taste.

Michael Jackson Dead?
No real news site has confirmed, but apparently TMZ is reporting as much.

Because I'm dead, I'm dead-come on
(dead dead-really, really dead)
You know I'm dead, I'm dead-you know it
(dead dead-really, really dead)
You know I'm dead, I'm dead-come on, you know
(dead dead-really, really dead)
And the whole world has to answer right now
Just to tell you once again,
Who's dead..............
RIP........[sniff]

If he wasn't breathing when they picked him up (that's in all of the reports), I'd lean towards things not looking too good.

At the moment I remember him as the guy who gave me a snow day in June. Just got word my school in Westwood is shut down today because of the traffic/media circus surrounding his death at UCLA hospital.
It does seem rather cruel of the LA Times site to have up a later in life picture from his totally kooky era.
