That isn't news. That number was published when A-Rod was outed as being on the list, if not before.
These are the results of the 2003 "anonymous" sample testing that was part of the negotiation between the league and the players union over implimenting testing. The results were supposed to be secret, but one can see how the players' didn't have much of an argument against testing after 100 of them, including several of the biggest stars, turned up dirty. |

Yeah, that 5% threshold (or whatever it was) sure blew up on their face. Multiple times.
What I'm wondering is if how if there were 100 positive tests there were basically none since then (yes, a few, I realize). Did the masking agents get better or did players actually stop using PEDs?
