That was RT's fault--she brought up the 3/5s thing and provided the jumping off point.
I suggest you, as moderator, ban her.

Now THAT is not friendly. Such language will only drive this Board further into the slough of despair.
I didn't (and don't) believe that Hank was serious with his 14th Amendment question, and I believe (and hope) that his outrage is feigned because Lord knows he dishes out enough that he should be willing to take some back.
Still, a comparison to Pomplamoose is way out of bounds.

So you're saying that Atticus doesn't want to God-fist Hank from behind?

I think that, for any other faults, any positive association between Hank and someone/thing accurately described as twee is beyond the pale.

Don't too excited.
ETA: Lest you worry about bias from Media Matters, Sen. Howard said right before the language quoted in the wiki article:
Quote:

This amendment... is declaratory of what I regard as the law of the land already, that every person born within the limites of the Unisted States and subject to their jurisdiction is by virtue of natural law and national law a citizen of the United States.
|
I didn't read it all, and others certainly seem to have qualms about the citizenship clause applying to "Indians, Mongols and gypsies" but in what I read they don't seem to be disagreeing that it would.

1 When a poster gives notice he has another on ignore it is not polite to quote the ignored.
2 I cannot recall a single instance where I was hateful. I criticize in a constructive manner, but that is something else indeed.

If people had not driven off my socks, you wouldn't have to invent Hank. Or genital fungi for that matter.

Dissent. Anything off the far left talking points gets deleted. Quickly. Not that I know from personal experience......

You should also have stayed your deletion hand for politically relevant posts that you don't like, but, unfortunately, free speech here did not know that moderation......
No offence.

But you love to hate the teachers unions. So I thought you'd want to know that Obama's with you, and the GOP is against you. Cheers!

I don't think it's very nice of you to liken Hank to genital fungi. He is a valued member of this online community.

Good, I voted for Obama. I like to see my investments pay off. Also, like the recent tax cuts he signed.
