Well done. I'm struggling to figure out which of the endless applicable criticisms beginning with "38" to use. It's a smorgasbord of conucopias.

For the record, I am proud to be represented by Congress's only Muslim.

Why is that something to be proud of? Who the fuck cares what religion your congressman follows. I'd prefer mine be agnostic, but I couldn't give a rat's ass if he were Muslim, Hindu, Jewish, Christian, Zoroastrian, Pagan...
If you're making a statement about being proud to hail from a district with open minded voters, please, don't break your hand patting yourself on the back. That's what they all ought to be, and your misplaced "pride" = soft-headedness. A person persuaded by identity politics (and being proud to elect a person of any particular creed, sex, race indicates a gullibility in that direction) is a person whose views deserve no reply by laughter. In short, if your post is earnest for the reasons I think it is, you're a bigger goddamned simp than I'd previously thought.
If this was sarcastic (no way for me to know as I don't know where you live), egg on my face.

'Cause it's not Bachman.
Also, it's a figure of speach.
Also, I did not vote for him as I just arrived.

Is he not Bachman because he's Muslim? I'm no scientician, but it seems to me that his religion has nothing to do with the fact that he is not Michele Bachmann (who is, yes, an all star asshole/idiot).

He is not Bachman because he has a deferent identity and personhood than Michelle Bachman.
Also, the thing he is most famous for is his religion. In fact, it is about the only thing anyone knows about him. Which is why I mentioned it.

If the choices had been Harry Reid or YOU, Harry would have lost badly.
The casino workers aren't that stupid.

What is "personhood"? Is that another way of saying, "He is not Michelle Bachman"? I assure you, having seen both interviewed, I'd never mistaken one person for the other.
For the record, I share a different personhood from Bachmann and Ellison, and I request a similar disclosure from you. If you do not have a "deferent" identity from either, you're too biased to engage in this discussion.
