ps: Are you sure that was debt panel coverage and not death panel coverage? I heard that Obama's first legislative goal of the next congress is to get cram the death panels down our throats.

They'll get you coming and going. Once they take away the social security, you'll be wanting to get the death panel treatment.

Also, once you get that treatment they will hit you with the death tax. Thank G-d and his second son Mohammed that there is a Second Amendment as a firewall. npi.

Did you see the recommendations coming out of the panel (debt panel that is)?

Only in summary. I think it's not enough, largely bc most of it won't get through.
Skimming thru the summary:
"This option eliminates the [Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools], saving about $1.8 billion in 2015."
WHAT? How do they manage to spend anything like that much on something like that? If anyone objects to this, they're brain dead.
Also: I note that it calls for a total elimination of earmarks--seriously, if Nancy doesn't run with that one in the lame duck, she doesn't deserve here seat, much less a leadership position.

If you click the link, there's a nice chart that shows the number over $160k went from 2852 to 44898. Which is over 15x.
Also "worse" for $170k and $180k, both with over 21-fold increases.
