wttw, I got feedback on the gilligan posts. some people said they were unfunny*, some people said they were mean, but curiously, no one ever said they miss the mark.

So what are your thoughts on the TSA outrage? I haven't been following that closely, and have mixed views. On the one hand, some intrusiveness is necessary for public safety. On the other, I know without a doubt that a portion of the TSA workers are getting off on this - it's human nature.

I'm not excessively outraged, and I don't care that much about TSA workers getting off. But I do question whether the marginal benefit in terms of additional security of the new procedures is greater than zero or enough to justify the cost of buying additional scanners.

I don't really care one way or another (although I'm sympathetic to the sexual assault victims that aren't too thrilled about it).

I find it very interesting that a good hunk of the population could give a shit about civil liberties in the name of national security/terrorism protection until junk is touched.

The airlines are a disaster as an industry and a business model and I pray that we never bail them out again. Thankfully I fly charter so its all moot to me.

BTW, Hank

This is what Dick Lugar said about postponing ratification:

Lugar yesterday said "this is a situation of some national security peril." Delaying a vote into 2011 would require a new round of hearings and committee votes and increases the danger to the pact, the Indiana Republican said

Also, this is what one guy says the money is for.

fewer and fewer corporations have company jets, but if you are in enough demand you can make having a jet a prereq for any client that you are considering taking on.

And by "you" I mean, you and me. Not the rest of this lot. Surely not penske.

I rather enjoy it. Fly commando in nothing but sheer gym shorts. Free happy ending!

(I don't recommend fluffing to near completion in the men's room in advance. First, the glory holes are manned by TSA workers on break [these people have teeth like fangs... and as to other thing one might select from a glory hole menu, if they can't handle a bag, they sure as hell can't handle your your junk]. Second, the local fuzz is on the lookout for Larry Craig types.)

Depends on the company. Today I'm chartering (I'm on the operating company's dime and the regulators do not like to see cost reports with expenses related to fractional ownership. Charter costs are easier to bury).

The finance company does NetJets.

Is defensive farting allowed?

Defensive? Why?

But if you enjoy farting at climax, who am I to judge? Though I must offer my sincerest sympathies to your SO. And I do pray you eschew Mexican on days when you suspect you might be feeling frisky.

One shouldn't offer too much detail on his middle management bona fides. It's terrible manners to compel others to pity.
