Looks like cutting federal, state and local budgets means that people lose their jobs, which drives up the unemployment rate. Who could have guessed?
Hopefully one of the Republican candidates has a plan to turn up the Jesus and tax cuts to 11, because that's surely the answer.
Also, rich Job Creators? Your tax cuts have been here for a while, just sayin'.

well I cant speak for everyone but if I felt I could count on HCR being found unconstitutional, or otherwise repealed, I would feel comfortable hiring another 100 workers. Right now though, things are too much up in the air.

Are you sure you want to commit to that? I thought the NLRB and EPA would also have to be eliminated before John Galts like you would be willing to come out and risk seeing your shadows. |

One of the more amusing local incidents here was when Fidelity and Raytheon went to the state looking for tax breaks, saying it would let them create jobs. So the state passed the requested breaks but made them dependent on the company claiming the benefit delivering about half the promised jobs for the desired benefit. Guess what two companies haven't used those tax breaks?
