The crowd is growing though. I'd say a couple hundred. Signs all appear reasonably cogent (to the extent that signs like "Tax the Rich" and "Revoke Corporate Personhood" are cogent). There was one guy, who I think I have seen preaching on the street before, reading from Leviticus and describing it as "what Jesus said," which was a bit odd, but I doubt he views himself as part of the movement.

In Foreign Policy Speech, Romney Calls for a "Thousand Year Reich"

CHARLESTON, S.C. — Standing before an audience of crisply-clad, closely-shorn cadets, Mitt Romney delivered his foreign policy vision today at The Citadel, calling for a strengthened military and economy to lead the country into what he dubbed "an American Milennium,” while also accusing President Obama of weakening the nation’s image around the world. And we're going to invade Poland, too.

“This is America’s moment,” said Mr. Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts. “We should embrace the challenge, not shrink from it, not crawl into an isolationist shell, not wave the white flag of surrender, nor give in to those who assert America’s time has passed, because they are decadent internationalist traitors to our glorious homeland.”

Take a hard swipe at Mr. Obama, he added: “An eloquently justified surrender of world leadership is still surrender, and we will never surrender, never retreat, and we will fight until the last drop of pure American blood."

Really? What we need is more ships? We have essentially the only navy in the world, but it needs to be bigger (i.e., more expensive)?

“I will launch a campaign to advance economic opportunity in Latin America, and contrast the benefits of democracy, free trade and free enterprise against the material and moral bankruptcy of the Venezuelan and Cuban model,” Mr. Romney said.

Hopefully this gets center stage in the Romney campaign. "I'm Mitt, and I will stimulate the Latin American economy. Screw the American one!"

Addressing a small group of veterans, he called for increasing the Pentagon’s budget — moving non-combat spending to 4 percent of the gross domestic product from 3.8 percent, and growing the active duty personnel ranks by about 100,000.

And there you have it. The Romney stimulus package: more ships, missile defense, a bigger pentagon and a bigger military.

Hank, why do you bother? They don't get it. If Bush was still president, we'd be hearing about impeachment for the above, the illegal wars in Libya, Iran/Contra II (read: ATF gun running), etc. There is a double standard. Just get over it.
