I agree that's the issue, along with the related issue of who will really run things, Romney or his party-mates in Congress? I don't see him being strong enough to stand up to a lot of their lunacy.

He will do whatever benefits him individually. If he needs to nuke Tehran to win a second term, well, that's what he'll do.

Obama is strong enough to say no to their true lunacies, because it doesn't cost him anything.
It will have costs for Romney.

For Penske
Penske needs this -- if he doesn't already have one:

Fuck the Teachers' Unions
Quote:
A teacher charged with 23 counts of lewd conduct in his classroom successfully thwarted attempts by the Los Angeles Unified School District to fire him. In the process, the teacher, who is accused of spoon-feeding his semen to blindfolded children, managed to retain lifetime health-benefits provided by the nation’s second-largest school system.
Former Miramonte Elementary School teacher Mark Berndt also automatically receives nearly $4,000 a month in pension from the California State Teachers' Retirement System.

In case there is any doubt, I hope he rots in prison prior to rotting in hell.

2. I say fuck Trygstad, Schwab & Trygstad.
That article says nothing about the union doing anything.
That guys is a despicable criminal, but where's the labor issue here? He committed unspeakable crimes against the children in his care and was fired.

I'm at the Moth. So you'll have to google but gov termination always starts with union representation.

I assume his rights to the pension are governed under the CBA, which would have been negotiated by the unions.

Okay, but if you got fired tomorrow, your employer would not seize your 401(k) absent fraud on your behalf in obtaining it either. No matter how horrific a crime precipitated your firing.
