Ta-Nehisi Coats talked about it yesterday, quoting from the Washington Post, which I thought had pretty comprehensive coverage.

Obviously we don't know much that is reliable about the facts, but it strikes me that it isn't that hard to use a condom (and I have a hard time understanding why you wouldn't want to do that for your own protection) and stop when you are asked.

That said, I also have a hard time understanding how a woman wouldn't/couldn't verify the presence of a condom before it, um, goes out of sight.

I'll keep that in mind, but you should know that my opinions are actually those that I have formulated myself; maybe I'm just not smart enough to rise to the level of "your" arguments.

my pet peeve with you is that your every opinion is someone else's, and seemingly different peoples' across time. so we get a collective body of your "opinions" that are often inconsistent and, you know poorly thought out isn't right because it's not thought out at all, how about poorly gathered and copied?

There was no error in that sentence. Read it again.

I doubt that. I think it's more than you don't care to make the effort, and enjoy the banter more than the content. But I'm willing to dumb it down for you.

You're smarter than this, too.

Is this meant as a statement of narcissism or do you live in vacuum?
