If I was of slightly above average intelligence, but lacking good/refined analytical capabilities, but, had a lot of opinions on public policy (many of which were not backed up by fact or critical analysis) and I liked sharing those opinions, and organizations/people stepped up to pay me a lot of money to share those opinions, I would do it. The things she says are almost always stupid. She has been given a platform because it amazes people how stupid she is and has still managed to win the nomination. You have ignored the fact that she is stupid (as evidenced by her own words) and have focused on the fact that she has an opportunity to make money. Accepting that opportunity makes her neither smart (unless you're talking to Sebby) or stupid. The two things aren't related and I don't know why you bring them up as if they are.

I disagree. Mostly you think that's what you're doing. It seems to me that you think your posts are full of meaning, but they often make no sense.

I got your point the first time. It's just such a ridiculous conclusion to draw (I had friends who weren't stupid in HS who spout TP bullshit now, so there must be more going on) that it actually amounts to a post with no substance. I wanted to point that out.

I disagree. I have seen some older psychologists and psychiatrists use in clinical settings of respected institutions, although I agree it is generally out of fashion.

Being able to capitalise on opportunity and talent is smart. Look up the definition of the word. It doesn't mean she's an intellect or can affect analytical thinking or is book smart, but its canny and shrewd.

Exactly, I call that a smart investment of resources.

Other than meeting Hank, my 4 years in the Harvard/Yale Joint JD program were an incredibly indulgent and wasteful expense. Like most of my posts here.
