Fringey, you responded to my post that said, "which is which" with a response (that now seems to fit with another post) that said you weren't sure if I was or wasn't saying something about hidden fat--hence, my confusion. To answer that post, you're reading too much into it. If you asked me if I thought you looked fat and I thought you looked fat, I would say so. But you don't.

Part of the reason why you would know this is true is because of the whole patentpara fiasco here on the board. Since no one wants to re-live that (other than Hank, apparently), pm me if you don't remember it. Hank's last joke about me pm'ing him about your hair looking nice comes from that.

That is all.

and, although completely meaningless, you have not gained weight (at least from the photos). I say "meaningless" because what you need to do is get yourself back together physically. whether you have lost 10 lbs or gained 10 pounds doesn't matter right now, and people telling you to worry about that are misguided*. Eat a cookie if that's what you want to do and keep working hard on the continuous improvement you have shown these months.**

* I've completed 4 college credits of psych, so I know of what I speak.

** I can't keep being so deep and thoughtful w/o ruining my sock's persona, so try to remember this message.

BaconCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment about bacon.
As opposed to the secrecy with which most people share and learn about bacon?

ETA: This should probably go in the cooking thread, but.....

http://bacn.com/media/uploads/chocol...ered-bacon.jpg

Ingredients

Fletcher's Thick Sliced Naturally Smoked Pepper Crust Bacon
Ghirardelli Gourmet, 72% cacao, extra bittersweet baking chocolate

First you take the bacon and broil it in the oven for a nice, even crispness.

Then, carefully melt Ghirardelli gourmet, 72% cacao, extra bittersweet baking chocolate in a double-boiler.

Next dip the pepper-crusted savory goodness into the rich melted sweetness, leaving just a "handle" of uncoated bacon.

Let them cool on wax paper.

Serve at room temp.

Fringey, if we send you some as a gift can you eat it even though it is high cholestrol?

Re: This is the thread where the fringster comes back with teeth

If I were to receive bacon covered in chocolate, I could probably eat it but mmmmmm, there'd be competition. I am not overly worried about fattening, though it is frustrating that I can't do aerobic exercise. I may make cookies later on today and eat some.

are you recovered enough to receive criticism of your grammar?

did someone post about this?

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4315071

if I was the young man I'd be pissed my "dunk on James" film was lost, but I understand LeBron's position. Here he is making an appearance, playing not at full speed, and some guy rises on him? He would either need to play full out, which makes him not able to play with these guys, or allow every knucklehead in the gym to dunk on him.

At this point, LeBron and Nike should have fun with it and use it in a commercial, donating some cash to the kid's school to improve their program.

Nah. Just a very toned and fit classic pear shape, with augmentation up top to balance things out.
