What's really sad is that the news that Fugee's nephew came within 30 minutes of watching Tiger practice is the most interesting thing that's hit the board today.

The letter carried Albright's name on the bottom with the signature line "Rot in Hell" that made its way around the Internet. He did not write the letter and admits that when he first saw it, "I laughed my butt off." |

Much more exciting, no? |

Anyone know anything about oil painting? If you want to give a gift to a beginner, is there a good one?

There are a million things to get someone - you could get a nice easel, a paint box, some supplies to experiment with (like a whole bunch of different mediums and resins). My daughter got some plexiglass and translucent paints one trip (oils come in differing levels of opacity) and painted something like a stained glass window, and that was cool.

Let the art students guide you. Or just give a gift certificate. If the person is a true beginner, discovering a really good art store is a thrill in itself. |

 | and, not to fight the hypo, but acrylics are much easier and much less frustrating for a beginner.

Any recommendations for bottled tomato sauce that contains meat? I could probably handle adding some cooked Italian Sausage, but I am not up to fully homemade sauce. It will be going over a long pasta and sliced greens of some kind.
I have already thought of Progresso Sausage.

I'm an oil person. I can only use acrylics for silk screening and block printing. I can't understand how one can paint with them. |
