There is a lot of societal pressure to be thin. If you work in pr, in entertainment, in media, or in fashion that pressure can be absolutely overwhelming. The images normally portrayed in fashion magazines and on television are unrealistic and unhealthy for women.

There is no balance with regard to body acceptance and there are very few places where normal women, who are not size 0 can see images that reflect who they are.

As I was saying last week, as a result of Pacman's heinous conduct there's a strip joint in Vegas that the fatties can go to for this.

Ugh, she's fat, though. Cute in the face, but fat. Just being honest.

But then again, I bang models.

fans of ANTM know that the "plus size models" are normal, not at all overweight, let alone "obese." still, I worry that this photo has been carefully set up, and that she might be larger than she looks.

Lots of big chunky ladies get a "Glamor" photo at their local photographer, and they always hide the majority of the roles.

Absolutely not. "healthy normal-sized people" was meant to describe her.

The rest of my post was about the commentary on Jezebel, not about Lizzi Miller.

For pull-ups, it's outstanding. Color me surprised. Then again, pull-ups are something I actually enjoy doing (I don't like most weight-lifting exercises). It's easy to assemble, and you can put it up and take it down in seconds. I will do pull-ups between sips of wine (not scotch).
The AS SEEN ON TV aisle is my favorite in Walgreens.

Given the weather there (and the campus), it can't be in the top rank of douchedom.

There's an entire "AS SEEN ON TV" store in the Palisades Center mall here. I've never been inclined to check it out. What am I missing?

I hope you haven't participated in a Snuggie pub crawl.

Oh, all sorts of useless crap.

In related news, my boyfriend's sister registered for a pair of Snuggies for her wedding. We had them monogrammed.

I haven't! But I know some guys in Chicago who organized one about a month and half ago or so. Did you run into them?

No, but I saw ads/fliers for more than one earlier this summer.

About a year ago, we jokingly bought one for a buddy and brought it to his birthday dinner. He wore it out at the bars after dinner and was the most popular kid in school. He's normally about as cool as Adder.

Fat. Obese. Very, very different.

I'd bang her before I'd even look at that tweaky bitch from the NYTimes fashion section (even using the pic that Atticus all hot and bothered).
