Gilt and Fashion Sales
Since the downturn, I have been spending more time on sites like Gilt, Rue la la, HauteLook and even ideeli, which are the online equivalent to Last Call @ Neiman Marcus . . . i.e., the greatest store ever (there is seriously nothing better than picking up a fabulous $600 dress for 75% off, whether or not we're in a recession).
Gilt is supposed to be the best of the bunch, and I prefer it because it features more of the brands I actually wear (they are having a Milly sale right now and had a VW lavender label sale last week). WWD had a blurb about Gilt this afternoon sponsoring shows for Alexander Wang, Peter Som, Philip Lim, and Rodarte during NY fashion week, which, frankly, endears them to me even more.
There is a "waiting list" for Gilt although I don't think that it takes long to get in off of it, but I have a couple of invites, so pm me if you are interested in jumping the line.

Hey, on a totally unrelated note, I'm thinking up a song parody and I can't think of a good rhyme for bourgeoisie.

So it's good I deleted the line about shopping those sites in my unending desire for more cocktail dresses, as I can never have enough with all the parties and events going on?

I don't see how that's helpful for me and my unrelated rhyming issues.

Just because you hear that in your head all day doesn't make it rhyme.

You have a couple of options. You could try using " bourgie" instead. Rhymes (sorta) with "choosy."
Or, if you want to stick with the original word, you could try "Juicy" -- as in the name on the ass of the sweatpants. Assonance (defined, as a lit professor once told me, as getting the rhyme wrong) is the best I can do, I'm afraid.

Be careful. Assonance makes an ass out of onan and ce.
