Speaking of which, is there going to be a happy hour at Bing's this Friday?

I paraphrased the "rocky place" line in the holiday letter announcing my first pregnancy. Doesn't that count for anything?

Maybe this should be a PM to Ollie . . .
Anyone know how to get Marks-a-Lot out of fabric? The marker was black, the pants light tan. Is there a Carbona product that will do it? I've already tried rubbing alcohol (lifted a little purple) and nail polish remover (no real effect).

That is exactly what works for me, which is why I am going to be hating the scale tomorrow after we concluded a very hard workout with pizza at a new joint.
Ugh.
Our waiter laughed at us in workout garb, stuffing our faces.

Workout Music
I volunteered/was volunteered by the LMA to help our instructor pick new music for class.
Her stuff sucks. She actually played Wilco, although she ended with Material Girl, which was a kitschy kick.
Obviously, I have some things I will be emailing her, but let me know if you have any suggestions of things with a steady tempo.

I may be going to hell in a bucket, babe. But at least I'm enjoying the ride.

He's so, gosh, manly. Swoooooooooooon.
(coulda sworn I had a sock named "Senor Hombre")
Anyhoo, apropos of The Sport [sic] Of The Oppressor, I recently won a trophy in a best ball tournament at a client's annual conference in some godforsaken desert artificially turned green by a brazen theft of public water. My contribution was being a F golfer who got lucky with two putts.
I felt dirty. But the rum drinks were very good.

Why just steady tempo? Pick stuff with changes and mix up the class a bit. Something like a Foo Fighters song, with shifts that let you do speed or tension changes throughout the song.

It's not for spin class. We need a steady tempo with no time changes.

I have a shit ton of mashups that I send to my spin instructor / trainer on a regular basis.
Check these guys out: http://www.looandplacido.com/home.php?lang=en
or head over to http://www.mashuptown.com/
My current favorite midtempo mashup is "Victim of Da Funk" by DJ John. You can get it here.

Your last sentence is outstanding.

I am so dominantly left handed, I don't think I could figure out how to do anything right handed.
Back when I took lessons, there was an instructor who could golf either right or left handed. I think he scored about the same either way.

My left side may be permanently weak. Luckily I'm not a lefty. My left hand will not not not behave. But left side is being more cooperative.
