Actually, this is one poll that I think just goes to Joe Biden. If there are a couple more that confirm it, it's a big plus.
The national polls that are getting pushed as dispositive that Joe has an advantage against Trump, including by my friends at Third Way, don't really show that. Other state polls cut both ways. I would say right now that it is not clear whether Joe has an advantage over Liz (whose numbers I've looked at most closely) in the electoral college, assuming each run a good campaign (the big assumption I worry about).
But the differences in that Texas poll look very significant and very real.
We don't even need to win Texas, just making it competitive will suck up 100M in the Presidential and give heart attacks to the whole Texas Republican party.
