 | You need an explanation? She keeps track of everything she eats, including use of a scale, and works out with a trainer but still thought she needed to lose 10 lbs so she made the "subtle" change of cutting out carbs. |

 | Mr Man and I are both lefties who golf right-handed. It probably doesn't matter for me, as I was never much of a slugger at softball, but it does feel right (as in correct) to have my stronger arm forward during my swing. I think it is pretty common for left-handed people to be told to play right-handed, particularly in my generation because there were more/better club options, etc. I was taught both ways as a kid and basically chose to play righty when I took up the game as an adult. I still sometimes have to think through which way to stand when putting, but that is probably due to my mild putting disorder.

I also like having my strong hand/arm forward.

Your last sentence is outstanding.

I, on the other hand, went down on Sunday on leisurely 30 miler, although I attribute that to still being under the influence of many tequilas from the earlier hours of the same morning.

 | A final golf anecdote, Mr Man is a powerful driver -- he hits the ball further than anyone I have ever played with -- and I've never (really! never!) seen him slice. I think that is all about power arm forward and not trying to kill it as you would with a baseball swing.
