I work that in frequently, but I turn the air way up so that I only gleam and glisten rather that drip sweat. I don't want to damage the laquer.

Seriously, though, what do people do now for "core" workouts? I think such exercises will help my running.

Pilates really focuses on the core.

I have been going to core classes this year. They fucking hurt. But they have pretty much eliminated the back pains and other tweaks and injuries I would get from biking a lot. The involve a lot of maneuvers in a plank position and side plank position. For example, plank with extended arms, right knee to left elbow, left knee to right elbow, two count down to a tricep push-up, two count back up, repeat over and over. A lot of lying on your back and maneuvering your legs around while keeping your core still, or maneuvering a stability ball around with your legs. Very few traditional crunches or other "abs" exercises. I cannot even hope to keep up with all the moves. The classes are very popular with the tri geeks.

If you have to choose between a long show and a good ending, isn't the right answer "both".

I have done pilates with my wife. It fucking hurts. And I am the most inflexible person in the history of the world.
