That's just dumb. Does she really think her sitcom is going to be a SMASH HIT? I'd keep the TC hosting gig as long as possible, if I were a superhot Indian supermodel like her. Actually, if I were her, I'd probably be too busy looking at myself naked in a mirror to hold a steady job, so perhaps it is a good move on her part.

Well, I am not surprised. I like Top Chef as much as the next person, but she has probably had enough of the prima donnas and the oversalting. And the "California Flair" -- remember that guy? And the "I don't think Tom likes me" guy. And has Gail Simmons been replaced by Toby Young, or is she coming back? Toby Young would be reason enough for me to quit.

Padma is on to Pantene commercials and (likely) bad sitcoms, and I say Godspeed.
