No. Not a big fan of yelling and posturing, even when the sentiments are somewhat closer to (hardly identical to) my own.

IIRC, Rachel Maddow was another Atticus love-interest, in a fist-of-God sort of way. His fetish for chicks with short bubble-cuts is a little disturbing.

Oh, OK. Carry on, then.

Fair enough. I watch it as its easier to keep up with the DU mindset by watching TV than by reading postings. Also, they banned my isp address.

A little, yes, although coupled with all of his other quirks there is a lot disturbing going on there. In a good way. No offence.

I've had some socks last for as much as a month there w/o being outed, but the alcohol, it always trips me up in the end

At a general level, Fuck Bush and hate everything R and corporate and capitalist. The specific points flow from there.

Again, I think you're straining "far," but also fading into obscurity.

Berkeley liberals.
Yeah, in the "nobody paying attention to" camp.

Seattle.
Ditto.

I could say the same to you.

None of the groups you mention is Marxists, socialist or even European-style democractic socialist, which means each of them has a lot of room to their left.

Clinton and Gore killed everyone to the left of Robert Reich (whom we could discuss if you would like).

Actually, I was referring to higher/different taxes.

But you reminded me that I meant to go back and respond to your last missive, in which you seemed to equate slow growth with depression. They're both bad, but they ain't the same.
