Why is he more at risk in Sweden than he was in the UK? Do we have a deal with UK that we won't kidnap "enemies of the state" from their soil, but not with Sweden?
And, I don't think it makes him sound crazy, just a little self-important.

Sounds paranoid to me, especially for the reasons you cite. But yeah, self-important is clear. I'm sure his internet followers eat it up though.
ETA: Where are the Newt's of the world to declare Loughner a terrorist?

They can't *definitely* tie him to DU-like anti-American thinking (ala John Walker Lindh and others), so there's too much risk calling him a terrorist if the investigation turns up any convincing evidence that he shared sympathies with R talking points.

So you're suggesting that they are less than fully unbiased when making their carefully considered judgments about what's terrorism and what isn't?
Does that explain Giuliani's recent terrorist-endorsing activities?

Oh, you've got Rudy all wrong. He was suggesting that the stated goal of a terrorist organization was a good thing, not the means they have employed to achieve it, nor their *actual*, not-very-hidden goal. And, as we all know, the enemy of our enemy is our friend, even if they would also be our enemy if their enemy didn't exist, cf. most of the sectarians we are paying to be our friends in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Re: Election 2010: Teabaggin' the Ds & Rs
the arizonia shooter seemed well known as a potential lune for some time. is there something wrong with when we pull people off the streets? I know it is a potential violation of right?
