  Why not?  That, combined with whoever is the hottest team going into the playoffs (often the wildcard team) is the new formula for winning in the post-season.  Given the fact that TV stretches these series out way too long, making your first 2-3 starters that much more important, isn't that exactly what you want?  If they played a 7 game series in 9 days, doesn't that give the big market teams with a deep starting staff a much bigger advantage?
